Location

The Estancia Quemquemtreu farmhouse is located an hour and twenty minutes from the Chapelco airport (which is equipped with ILS) and 100 kilometers away from San Martin de los Andes.

The road to Quemquemtreu winds though the hills that mark the transition between the arid Patagonian steppe and the Andes mountain range.

Located at the foot of mount Pailacura, in the northern Patagonian lake district, this old cattle ranch is flanked by the Collón Cura and Caeufu rivers. The Quemquemtreu stream flows through it, giving its name to both the valey and the estancia.
